My name is Lisa Nguyen

Welcome to my online portfolio. What you'll find here is a showcasing of my personal and professional work. I am a freelance illustrator, and graphic and web designer residing in Central Louisiana here in the USA. I offer my design services free to nonprofit organizations. I have provided a selection of my work for viewing and not all of my work is present here. If you are interested in seeing additional work, I will be happy to provide them upon request.

My love for art and design started with my interest in illustration and Adobe Photoshop 6.0 more than 15 years ago. I have experimented in several mediums from sublimation and engraving, to screen-printing, to my current strengths of graphic and web design. I take joy in learning as much as I can about the design world.

In my spare time I enjoy illustrating, crafting, playing video games (I am primarily a PC and PS3 gamer but also have a love for mobile, Nintendo DS and PSP gaming), and reading comic books (I especially enjoy The Walking Dead and Marvel comics).

Alt Ambitious Love Boutique

Ambitious Love Boutique specializes in designing and sewing clothing for 12-inch fashion dolls. It specifically caters to Pullips, Taeyang/Namu, Dal/Byul, Blythe, and some Asian Ball Jointed Dolls. It also contains a Wordpress developed life and crafts blog. I started this project on Livejournal in 2004 but moved it to its own domain because of high demand. Ambitious Love Boutique is one of my oldest, though not first, website, registered in 2006.

Alt In Love and Justice

In Love & Justice is a slice-of-life web comic made of original content written and drawn by me. I had created In Love & Justice because I have always held a strong interest in sequential art. In Love & Justice is developed on Wordpress with a Comicpress display that I update about two to three times a month. I initially had created In Love & Justice in February 2010 but recently relaunched the site in June 2011.
